Welcome to the GO Places Handbook. This section aims to help you find exactly what you’re looking for.

The main menu on the homepage will take you through the sections of the Handbook, which are all laid out as follows:

Sixty Second Briefing: gives a short overview of the key themes
Core Questions: gives you practical answers to the most common GO challenges
Real-World scenarios: provides worked examples of problem-solving from around the country
When do I use what?: sets out a list of the key sources of data and in what circumstances these could be best put to use.
What do I need to ask?: compiles a number of ‘check lists’ for GO staff to use in certain situations e.g. moving from analysis to planning
