Government invests £31 million in children and young peoples' Psychiatric wards

Health Minister Ivan Lewis today (14 November 2007) announced £31 million funding to increase bed capacity and improve facilities in Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services across the country.
The funding has been split between 17 projects designed to help eliminate the inappropriate use of adult psychiatric wards for children and young people by increasing bed capacity and refurbishing facilities. To read more visit the GNN website.
