£70 million expansion to help more people get back on their feet

Housing Minister Yvette Cooper has today (13 November 2007) announced a new £70 million expansion of the Government's drive to help rough sleepers make a permanent move away from the streets.

The investment will fund more than 100 new or upgraded hostels with training facilities to help some of the most vulnerable people in society move on to independence.
