Academy brings a 'fresh start' to farmers in East Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire

Published: Tue, 11 Mar 2008 11:34:38

The Wolds Fresh Start Academy for farmers launches at Bishop Burton College today (11 March). Fresh Start is a ground-breaking industry-led initiative supported by Defra to encourage new entrants into farming and help established farmers to diversify their businesses.

Between 20 and 25 applicants will complete 12 evening training sessions at the College in the next 15 months, covering topics as diverse as finance, tenancy issues, business planning and succession.
