Integrated Children`s System( ICS)
When children suffer neglect or abuse or need to be in care, we need to collect and record detailed information about them. Furthermore, this information needs to be gathered in such a way that it can be analysed for use in decision-making and presented in a number of ways for different purposes. The ICS is an applied conceptual framework and practice tool for working with children in need and managing these detailed information requirements.
During the latter half of 2006 CapGemini undertook a 'readiness review' of all local authorities in relation to the ICS. GOYH supports the Full Integrated Working Network which meets bi-monthly.
