Business Plan

Our main priorities are focused on regenerating communities; improving the region’s economy; improving urban and natural environments and infrastructure; and joining-up government more effectively in the region. These tasks ensure that our work is very wide-ranging and ‘cross-cutting’ in nature, involving some ten government departments.

Achieving our aims represents a major challenge, and everyone has a part to play in delivering these aims, whether through work on delivering programmes, policies or services. I am confident that our staff are up to this challenge.
