As the Secretary of State is not proposing any further change to the
draft RSS, Reg. 16 of the Town & Country Planning (Regional
Planning)(England) Regulations 2004 does not strictly apply.
However, we published the clarification and consulted
statutory consultees, and provided the opportunity to make
representations.
The additional schedule was published on 16 April 2009 for a 6-week period
ending on 28 May 2009.
The Secretary of State has not re-opened the consultation the proposed
changes to the RSS published in July 2008 and any representations received
that relate to those proposed changes will not be taken into account.
