Targeted Support Fund (formerly the Community Resilience Fund)

The Office of the Third Sector has announced details of the areas which will receive the Targeted Support Fund.

The Office of the Third Sector (OST) has announced details of the areas which will receive the "Targeted Support Fund". The fifty top tier Local Authority areas nationally assessed as being hardest hit by the recession have been selected to receive this funding which is intended to provide support for third sector organisations experiencing significant increases in demand because of the recession.

These could include services such as debt advice, housing, employment. Three areas in the SW have been selected: Swindon; Torbay; Bournemouth. Further details can be found on the OTS website using the link below.

Information about the local fund managers will be available by 1st May on the Community Development Foundation website (Link Below). Potential recipients will need to contact the local funder in their area to apply.
