Fresh Start for Farming in Dorset

Published: Tue, 24 Jun 2008 14:25:58

Following the successful launch last year of an initiative to encourage new entrants into farming, the Dorset Fresh Start Academy is now looking for new members for next year.

Fresh Start is a ground-breaking industry-led initiative supported by Defra to encourage new entrants into farming and help established farmers to diversify their businesses. Dorset Fresh Start Academy, Dorset Agricultural Advisory Service and Kingston Maurward College are holding an evening reception at 7.30pm on Tuesday 1 July in the Pengelly Room at Kingston Maurward College, to celebrate the success of the partnership working together for the continued benefit of Dorset farmers and new entrants.

If you are interested in joining the Dorset Academy next year, please contact Katherine Sealy, co-ordinator for the Dorset Fresh Start Academy on 01305 215 167 to find out more.
