The European programmes aim to provide support for business to encourage growth, productivity and innovation through initiatives that assist SMEs. These include provision of quality sites and premises, venture capital and loan finance, skills development and high quality advice and guidance.
These programmes also aim to develop links between business and the higher and further education sectors putting the South West in a position to take full advantage of the knowledge based economy.
