Vacancies: Community Safety Researchers

The Safer Portsmouth Partnership is the key anti-crime and drugs organisation for Portsmouth.

We are actively reducing crime and substance misuse making the city a safe place to live, work and visit. Partners such as the Police, Council, Fire Servce, and NHS as well as representatives from the community and voluntary sector are working together in active partnership across the city to deliver long-term sustainable reductions in crime, anti social behaviour and drug and alcohol misuse.

This role will provide a connection between national policy, the local evidence base and targeted improvements in delivery and will also drive continuous improvement in performance management, monitoring and evaluation.

You will work as a member of the Strategy and Partnership team responsible for supporting the Community Safety service and the vision, aims and values of the Safer Portsmouth Partnership. You will lead on specific areas of work interpreting data, using research, evaluation and analysis skills in order to support the development of evidence led strategies and delivery plans; provide performance management information and advise on national and regional best practice.

Scale : SO 1 / 2 TBC
Salary : £23,749 - £27,594 p.a.  TBC
