A major new initiative has been established by the Department of Health, to
create a Social Care and Local Partnerships Programme team within regional
government offices, and together with the local social services authorities
and other stakeholders, ensure the support and delivery of key adult social
care policies, particularly those relating to the transformation of adult
social services and personalisation, as well as ensuring the overall
performance of adult care services in the South East.
The PSA 16 (Public Service Agreement 16) is one of these partnership
programmes, and aims to ensure that the most vulnerable adults are offered
the chance to get back on a path to a more successful life. Specifically,
it seeks to increase the number of vulnerable adults (those with learning
disabilities or severe mental health problems, young care leavers and
ex-offenders) through two strategic outcomes in settled accommodation and
employment.
The South East Region has combined these two strategies into one integrated
regional PSA 16 programme and we are looking to recruit a highly motivated
individual who will proactively contribute to the delivery of these
objectives, and ensure the successful achievement of the regional PSA 16
Delivery Plan.
Working to the recently appointed PSA 16 Programme Manager, you will play a
key role in ensuring the successful achievement of the regional PSA 16
objectives, particularly in the area of employment, to deliver tangible
improvements in the lives of socially excluded adults, and support the
successful delivery and outcomes for this major development.
