Around 27 Members of Parliament from the South East attended (about a third
of the Region’s MPs). Members of the public were welcome to witness
the event and the public gallery was well attended.
The Regional Grand Committee followed the same format as existing national

advance by Members of Parliament
- Debate (around 1hrs 45mins) on 'Identifying the growth sectors of the
South East economy and ensuring their growth is maximised' with Jonathan
Shaw MP, Regional Minister for South East England, opening the debate.
