Feasibility Testing UpdateCLG are currently working with 17 areas , Government Offices and Government departments to test the process for future LAA negotiations. The testing will largely focus on the identification and agreement of up to 35 priorities covering all the relevant stages at local, regional and national levels, and how these interact with each other in the identification of the priorities included in LAAs. CLG have adopted a collaborative, problem-solving approach to the testing which started with a workshop in London on the 1st May to identify themes that need to be tested and how these will be tested during the exercise. Communities and Local Government undertook at the Feasibility testing workshop to produce a FAQ in response to a number of issues and questions raised during the day. The FAQ is attached and will be made available on the Communities and Local Government Website. Partnerships have been working with GOs and Departments to identify their priorities and presented these at a second workshop in Leeds on 12th June. The Feasibility Testing Exercise will continue until mid/end July and a final report of the findings of the exercise will be produced in August. Key findings will be included in LAA operational guidance to be published in the autumn. |
