Performance Indicators Exchange Community Website & ForumTo ensure all key partners are included in the development of the Information Management Programme national pilot, the esd-toolkit (electronic service delivery website) is hosting a new community site and online forum to support the exchange of information on Performance Indicators, which are to be rolled out from April 2008. The Performance Indicator Exchange (PIE) is part of CLG’s Information Management Programme. The website provides information on a project to improve the operational mechanisms for sharing data between local government and partners, government offices in the regions and central bodies such as government departments and regulators. The website follows the progress of the national pilot operating in the North West which is building on technical developments in data sharing and storage. The information is intended to stimulate debate and awareness of the solutions being considered and further developments will be posted on the site.The online forum is open to all registered local authority officers and members of esd-suppliers. It can be accessed by people from CLG, other government departments and regional government officers to answer questions and participate in the debate. Internet links |
