Sport England works closely with Government Office for the North West (GONW) in negotiating the Local Area Agreements between Government and Local Areas in the North West.
In 2012 the Olympics are being held in London. Government Office is working with Sport England, the North West Development Agency and other partners to maximise the benefits of the Games for the North West.
