A draft charter was produced working closely with the National Council
for Palliative Care and launched for public consultation in early October
2009.
The pioneering document sets out proposals for the care and support
which people who are dying, their families and carers, can expect.
The first of its kind in the UK, comments will be invited until the end of
November with the findings likely to be published in late January 2010.
