Following the Budget on 21 March, regional press notices are produced for each of the nine Government Office Regions.
The North East Regional Press Notice has particular relevance to measures in the Budget aimed at this region to stimulate growth, strengthen regional institutions, improve the regional evidence base and increase regional input into national policies.
