There will be a chance to hear and meet key UK Trade and Investment representatives from Russia and the central Asian republic as well as industry experts from the UK.

"Companies in the region have a history of excellence in fields such as offshore supply and service, project management , machinery and pipeline manufacture and are in a strong position to win valuable business in the big new markets opening up in Russia and Kazakhstan.
"This Roadshow will provide them with a unique opportunity to learn more about how to take advantage of these opportunities by hearing presentations and participating in specialist panel sessions focusing on their particular sectors and products and specific market openings."
The Roadshow will be chaired by Andrew Winterbotham, International Business Specialist at UK Trade and Investment, and speakers will include Steve Jones, BG (British Gas) Principal Project Manager, Sue Whitbread, Director of PWX Consultants, Mark McCrory, Deputy Head of Section at the British Embassy in Moscow, and Bernie Wilson, Head of Commercial Section at the British Embassy in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan.
The Russia/Kazakhstan Roadshow (Oil and Gas) will take place at Durham Cricket Ground, Riverside, Chester-le-Street on Friday 18 May between 9.30am and 4.00pm.
