How to use the search function
The keyword search function is located towards the top right of every page.
Enter one or more words to search for (search terms) in the text box (separated by spaces) and click on the GO button.
The results of the search will be returned in a new page as a list of links to pages which contain all of the search terms.
Matching your search terms
Search terms can be entered in lower case, upper case or a combination of both and it will not affect your search results.
The search engine will usually ignore frequently-used words such as ‘the’, ‘and’, ‘but’, ‘if’ and so on. But if you enter a phrase in double quotation marks (such as “local area agreements”) the search engine will perform an exact match.
Getting better results
Searching for a single word may not give good results. The more information you provide, the better your results will be. For example, enter 'invest' and 'save' to find information relating to the Invest to Save Fund.
Advanced search
An advanced search option is currently under development and will be included in a later release of this website.
