Our Residential Training Unit is a recognised national centre of excellence that manages contracts with the nine providers.
We undertake robust performance and quality monitoring of these specialist colleges, working closely with Ofsted to improve standards. Funding for the contracts is outcome-focused to ensure the emphasis for the programme is steered towards the achievement of sustainable job outcomes for unemployed disabled adults.
The unit:
- processes referrals to the programme
- monitors the quality of the trainees learning experience to ensure both individual and contractual targets are being delivered
- operates a robust management information system which provides comprehensive data on provider performance and informs decisions on the strategic direction and design of the programme.
