The Government's public service agreements linked with the Strategic
Priorities Framework, the overarching document that describes the network's
priorities linked to the department's strategic objectives, have
informed the Network Corporate Plan.
Through discussions with sponsor departments in context with the Strategic
Priorities Framework and our Network Corporate Plan we have developed our
regional priorities. From these regional priorities we developed our board
business plan objectives, which draw out in more detail our role. They also
capture our wider roles not covered, including our work with places,
regional resilience, and regional minister support.
This is captured in the Government Office for the North
East Corporate Plan that sets out our objectives and how we will
deliver them. This document represents all of our regional work and it
sets out delivery challenges for us all.
We have 10 priorities for 2009-10, and they are arranged into three
sections:
