London boroughs among the best in the country

London’s boroughs are continuing to provide their residents with some of the best services enjoyed anywhere in the country according to figures released Thursday by the Audit Commission.The 2007 Comprehensive Performance Assessments (CPA), measure the quality of services provided by English councils to their local communities and their commitment to improving these services in the future.For the third year running the capital boasts some of the country’s top councils with six London boroughs among the 13 authorities receiving the highest possible rating under CPA.
