Londoners are being asked to have their say on plans to redevelop one of London`s tourist hotspots. The £18.5m scheme to transform Leicester Square into an outdoor venue for musical, theatrical and cultural performances could be finished by 2010. The design includes a 200m (656ft) white granite "ribbon" seat for some of the square`s 250,000 daily visitors. A public consultation on the proposal ends on 29 February and work could start in March.
