Science Museum to get £13 million cash boost for capital grants

Published: Fri, 23 Nov 2007 00:00:00
The Science Museum in London is set to become an even more popular attraction, thanks to a £13 million Government cash boost announced by the Prime Minister. The funding will allow refurbishment work to take place and help create new galleries in London, at the National Media Museum in Bradford and at the National Railway Museum in York, all of which are part of the Science Museum family. The museums allow people, particularly children, to explore science at first hand, and are a key part of the country`s tradition of scientific inventiveness.
