Children reminded to `Be Safe Be Seen` as the clocks go back this weekend

Published: Thu, 25 Oct 2007 01:00:00
With clocks going back an hour this Sunday (28th October) the Department of Transport THINK! road safety campaign is reminding parents and children to `Be Safe Be Seen` as the nights draw in. In 2006 over 100 children aged 4 - 11 were killed or seriously injured while walking in London. The `Be Safe Be Seen` campaign aims to educated children about the need to use roads safely, to wear bright or reflective clothing and to make sure bikes are properly equipped for use in the dark.
