Award for London Travel Campaign

Safer Travel at Night, a campaign in London to tackle illegal minicabs and reduce sexual attacks by illegal drivers, has won an international award it was announced on 12 October. The 2006 Goldstein Award for Problem Orientated Policing was given in recognition of the project - a partnership between the Mayor, Transport for London and the Metropolitan Police.
