ALMOs Receive Extra Funding

On 14 February Housing Minister Yvette Cooper announced that Arms Length Management Organisations (ALMOs) would receive £538 million over the next two years. Barnet and Islington are two Round Three ALMOs that have proved to have progressed satisfactorily and will receive £29,684,200 and £59,623,200 respectively for decent homes programmes. The round three ALMOs were allocated grants in 2003 with the option of extra funding if progress was satisfactory and funding was available.
