African and Asian Heritage Report Published

The Mayor has published the first report from the Mayor’s Commission on African and Asian Heritage (MCAAH). The report, launched at an event held at the Victoria and Albert museum on 19 July, investigated the needs of the Black and Asian community-based heritage organisations and assessed how they serve the needs of these groups in the capital. The report takes forward the Mayor’s cultural strategy by identifying opportunities for improvements, to include the heritage and historical contributions from African, Asian and Caribbean citizens.
