partnerships still need to stretch their ambitions if the needs of
London’s young unemployed are to be met.
Local Authorities and
other partners are vital to developing innovative and ambitious proposals
to create good quality jobs for young people and disadvantaged groups most
at risk of continuing, long term unemployment. GOL can provide advice on
bids and we are taking an increasingly active role in encouraging further
bids.
Future Jobs Fund
bidding rounds will continue monthly for the remainder of 2009 and possibly
into early 2010, with job opportunities still needing to be created
throughout 2010 and up to March 2011.
