Civil Service goes 'Live'

Published: Tue, 07 Jul 2009 14:07:38

Cabinet Secretary Sir Gus O'Donnell will be joined by Dragons' Den star Peter Jones and the former Olympic Triple Jump champion Jonathan Edwards at Civil Service Live 2009.

This is an opportunity for frontline staff and managers to drive innovation by coming up with imaginative solutions that will help Britain improve public service both now and in the future.

Guy Bailey of GOL was there representing the Go Network:

"I attended the opening day of the CS Live Event, manning the Government Office and Civil Service in the English Regions stand. The doors opened at 8:30 and I was delighted to be surrounded by inquisitive colleagues from across the Civil Service who wanted to know more about the CSER inititative and to find out a bit more about the Government Office Network. The many seminars were all full and their was an air of excitement and expectancy that delegates would have the opportunity to find out about other organisations and catch up with ex-colleagues."
