The Directions relating to the eleven protected vistas identified in the Mayor's London View Management Framework were issued on 16th May 2007. These Directions replace the ten RPG 3A Strategic Views Directions of St. Paul's Cathedral and the Palace of Westminster and include an extra vista of the Tower of London viewed from outside City Hall. The Directions for the 11 Protected Vistas become effective on 13th July 2007 when the Mayor's London View Management Framework Supplementary Guidance document will be issued in its final form.
