This activity links to the strategic objectives of the various Local Strategic Partnerships across Nottinghamshire.
Local Strategic Partnerships (LSPs) are committed to addressing specific floor targets, identified through Neigbourhood Renewal priorities. It is widely recognised that the private sector can play a valuable role in the regeneration process.
The business sector has much to offer local partners, from helping shape decisions affecting local enterprise and employment – the backbone of sustainable Neighbourhood Renewal – through to mobilising its own resources to support public service delivery, education and the voluntary and community sectors.
With this in mind, these case studies (from Business In The Communities) has used information already in the public domain to demonstrate the link between these activities and LSP strategies, and there are some excellent examples of business engagement in regeneration activity across Nottinghamshire (in most cases, this activity has been taking place outside of the formal LSP structure) usually with the support or facilitation of BITC.
