The new look Info4Local website has launched

Published: Mon, 29 Jan 2007 15:50:38

The new-look info4local website has launched with some new features, including clear listings of consultations and their deadlines, subject sub-categories for some of the subjects it covers, and categorisation of information by region. It also has a quick search on every page.

Most improvements have been made as a result of research with info4local users.

If you are a subscriber to the email alert service, Info4Local will send you a password to login to your email account on the new site. You can keep that password or use it to login to your account on the new site and choose ‘update your personal information’ to add the password of your choice. At the same time, you will be able to look at new options and update your subscription by choosing ‘update the information you wish to receive’.

There are new options to:

  • be reminded in your email of approaching consultation deadlines, with consultations in a new easy-to-see category
  • get information by English region, with pages for the regions on the website
  • tailor further the subject information you receive by choosing sub-categories of some subjects

You can choose ‘update your email options’ to:

  • receive your email alerts once a day at 4pm instead of twice, if you prefer
  • get a short or full summary with the items in your email alert.

The Info4Local team welcome any feedback and look forward to hearing what you think about the new-look info4local website and email alert service. You can use the 'contacts' form, if you would like to let them know.
