Young People 14-19

Government Office East Midlands (GOEM) works with local authorities (LAs) and other partners to develop better services for children and young people. We support, challenge and monitor LAs and other agencies progress in improving outcomes for children and their families.

The 14-19 Education and Skills White Paper was launched in 2005. The Government Offices are working to ensure that young people have access to the services the need and are considered in the implementation of new policy. More information on the national picture
