SFSG Environmental Sustainability Advisory Group

The East of England Structural Funds Strategy Group (SFSG) has set up an Environmental Sustainability Advisory Group (ESAG) to advise on the development, implementation and delivery of environmental sustainability through European Structural Funds operating in the East of England.

Membership
Simon Garnier, Chair of the East of England Environment Forum and SFSG member, chairs the ESAG. The ESAG includes representation of the following at its meetings.

  • Government Office for the East of England Objective 2, Objective 2 ESF & Objective 3 Programmes
  • Objective 2 & Objective 3 Regional Facilitators
  • Competent Environmental Authorities (Environment Agency, English Nature & Countryside Agency)
  • English Heritage
  • East of England Development Agency
  • Government Office for the East of England Sustainable Development Awareness Team
  • Government Office for the East of England Rural Development Programme, EAGGF & LEADER+
  • Other members as needed to be co-opted from time to time.

Meeting Minutes
ESAG normally meets on a quarterly basis. Minutes are published only after ratification by ESAG. Minutes of past meetings are available by clicking on the links below.
