European Programmes – How are they changing?

Government Offices will focus on reducing the management of the European programmes:

This involves:

  • the transfer in 2007 of the European Regional Development Fund programmes to Regional Development Agencies
  • the transfer in 2007 of the European Social Fund programmes to Department for Work and Pensions/co-financing organisations
  • working with regional partners delivering the integrated Rural Development Programme
