To help unemployed 16 and 17 year olds the National Apprenticeship Service
is launching the Apprenticeship Grant for Employers (AGE) to give
businesses some support with wage costs, as well as paying all of their
training costs.
Some of the very strongest companies in England, both big and small, public
and private, employ apprentices and other firms should follow their lead.
